Bank Direct gets a new head

The new appointment is as a result group general manager James Mitchell taking on increased responsibility within ASB Bank.
Leith, who has been with BankDirect since January 2000 as marketing manager, assumes his new position next month and will be responsible for providing BankDirect with ongoing strategic direction in addition to overseeing the bank's daily operations.
Prior to taking up his marketing position with BankDirect, Leith worked in a variety of marketing roles at ASB Bank - responsible for ASB's e-Commerce online banking, share trading and alliance portfolio within both the business to business and business to consumer markets.
