Shane Downey joins ASB

Shane Downey has joined ASB Group Investments as its business development manager for Mezzanine accounts. Downey is taking over from Chris Tennent-Brown who has now moved over to his new role with CBA Bank.

"ASB Group Investments is committed to growing mutually beneficial relationships with advisor groups who provide their client administration via platforms," ASBGI manager, wholesale distribution Dianne Kidd says. "Shane takes responsibility for working with advisor groups to ensure we can provide successful investment offers and service consistent with our Vision - "To be New Zealand's best provider of investment and financial solutions, excelling in customer service".

Kidd says ASBGI is looking forward to developing further investments solutions off the back of the recent budget announcements.

Downey is a CFP qualified advisor. He was also instrumental in building adviser training organisation - AdviserLink, running the 5 day introductory course to financial planning and investment advice. He has been a member of FPIA for more than 10 years.
