Scarlett joins AXA

AXA has appointed Nick Scarlett as General Manager - Distribution. Scarlett has held a number of senior financial sector roles in New Zealand and Asia.

Most recently he was the Auckland-based chief executive of American International Assurance (AIA) New Zealand (now AIG Life).

Prior to that he managed distribution development in Hong Kong, Taiwan and through the Asia Pacific Region with a number of organisations including Eagle Star (an English company now part of the Zurich Group) and has been extensively involved in the development of the insurance business in the Asia Pacific Region.
