Accuro appoints former AXA manager as CEO

Member-owned health insurer Accuro, has appointed Ruth Colenso as its new chief executive.Colenso was formerly at AXA where she was general manager marketing and financial protection. At AXA she led both the insurance product and claims teams, along with the marketing department.
A University of Otago Bachelor of Commerce graduate, Colenso also held senior roles with Bank of New Zealand and brings international experience in both strategy and business leadership to Accuro.
Colenso begins her role as chief executive on August 25.
