Dobson won't be replaced

AMP Capital has no plans to replace Nick Dobson, who is stepping down after 17 years.

Tuesday, September 1st 2015, 10:26PM

Dobson has been in charge of AMP’s alternative assets, including private equity.

The firm has been selling these assets down.

Dobson will leave in the middle of the month.

He started with AMP in 1998 when it purchased Southpac Investment Management.

In 2002, he joined the alternative assets team as a principal. He took responsible for managing AMP Capital’s private equity portfolios as well as overseeing the AMP Capital NZ Property Fund.
