Morningstar researcher departs
Auckland-based Morningstar research analyst Elliot Smith has left.

Smith has taken a role as an associate analyst at Shaw and Partners, in Sydney.
Morningstar's New Zealand presence was reduced in the middle of last year. Only data specialist Greg Bunkall and Smith were guaranteed roles here.
Most Australasian Morningstar research is now done from Sydney.
Sydney-based Kathryn Young has been named director of manager research ratings Asia-Pacific.
