Morningstar fund manager of the year nominees
Morningstar has announced the nominees for its Fund Manager of the Year Awards 2004.

There are eight awards in all – the overall award, and seven underlying sector awards.
The awards are based on a combination of quantitative research and one-year performance to December 31.
The nominees are the issuers of various funds, in many cases the manager is a different company. For instance many of the Asteron funds are managed by Tyndall and AMP Capital manages the National Bank fund nominated.
